Mother's Guilt or Just Mine

I took my break. I had a severe tooth ache. At this shitty age! So I took it and I extended 20mns as my alarm went off from its first 20mns. The alarm went off again and I thought, it wouldn't hurt to take extra minutes before I decided to get up from my afternoon nap.

The most painful extra minutes I ever took. 

I heard glass shattered as it broke onto the ground. 

This shouldn't be from the living room. Is it?

I jumped, zoomed straight to the living room and I heard him loud and clear. 

I saw blood. 

My heart broke.
